Whitney Houston reveals album release date

The album, currently untitled, will be released worldwide on September 1, a message on her official website confirmed.
It is believed to feature production and songwriting contributions from will.i.am, Akon and Sean Garrett.
Houston has sold more than 140 million records during her 25-year pop career, but her last studio set, 2002's Just Whitney, stalled at number 76 on the UK albums chart.
