The artist told Entertainment Weekly that he is trying to be the "opening act" for the Detroit rapper "whenever he tours" next.
Eminem recently inducted the group into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, introducing them as his "long-time heroes".
"He inspires me," DMC said. "When I hear him, he makes me go back to my bedroom and sit down and write. I feel that we represent the upper echelon of what we're supposed to do with our craft."
The Relapse star currently has no tour planned.
