'Boom Boom Pow', currently number one in the UK and Australia as well, notches up a tenth consecutive week on top of the Billboard Hot 100.
It becomes the longest-running number one since Flo Rida's 'Low' also spent ten weeks at the top from January to March 2008.
Rapper Pitbull climbs to two with 'I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)', while Keri Hilson jumps to three with 'Knock You Down', her collaboration with Kanye West and Ne-Yo.
Meanwhile, Lady GaGa posts two tracks in the top ten this week, slipping to five with former chart-topper 'Poker Face', but climbing to six with 'LoveGame'.
Notable gains outside of the top ten come from Kings of Leon, who jump from 52 to 19 with 'Use Somebody', and Kelly Clarkson, who leaps from 26 to 20 with 'I Do Not Hook Up'.
