The electropop singer, who collaborated with Phil Oakey from the Human League on album track 'Symmetry', claimed that many of the group's fans have come to watch her perform.
"My fanbase is wonderfully mixed," she told the Daily Star.
"There's a strong gay following who are very enthusiastic, lots of 40-year-old dads who were really into The Human League, and loads of kids and students too."
She added: "People bring Stylophones to get signed. It's nice that people feel a close connection with me but I wouldn't want to end up with a stalker."
According to midweek sales figures, the Blackpool-born singer's debut album Hands is expected to enter the top five on Sunday.
