The reformed Britpop group announced the gig on Twitter and their official website yesterday morning, offering fans free tickets on a first-come, first-served basis.
The set, which lasted around an hour, included hit singles 'Song 2', 'Parklife' and 'Beetlebum'.
It was the group's second comeback show following their 'friends and family gig' at the East Anglican Railway Museum near Colchester at the weekend.
Blur will perform headline shows at Glastonbury, T In The Park and Hyde Park during the summer. Their latest double-disc Best Of collection Midlife was released on Monday.
