Preston 'readying himself for comeback'

Former Ordinary Boys singer Preston has started preparing to relaunch his music career.

The star, full name Samuel Preston, has reportedly been undergoing a rigorous makeover ahead of the release of his debut solo single 'Dressed To Kill' in August.

Earlier this year, photographs emerged of the singer looking dishevelled, pale and missing a tooth.

"After seeing the picture of himself looking rough, he realised he needed to do something about his appearance," a source told Heat.

"He worked out, cut out booze and got his tooth capped."

The Ordinary Boys, who formed in 2002, notched up three Top 20 albums and enjoyed renewed interest after Preston's appearance on Celebrity Big Brother in 2006.

During the series, Preston started a relationship with "non-celebrity" Chantelle Houghton and the pair married later in the summer. They divorced a year later.
