Fratelli will work with burlesque performer Lou Hickley on the project, according to NME. Fratelli's wife Heather performs under the name 'Chelsea Dagger' at Club Noir, where Hickey regularly plays.
Hickey is signed to Island Records as a solo act and asked the 'Mistress Mabel' singer to collaborate on her first record.
"This is my first record deal. I sing with the biggest burlesque group in the world, Club Noir, of which Jon's wife is a performer," Hickey told the Daily Record. "I had been writing songs with Jon and at the start of the year he asked me if I wanted to be in a new band and record songs.
"After writing a song with Jon for my solo stuff, we just took things from there. Jon is my friend and because his wife is my friend, it has been great. He is very grounded and we are both level headed."
Hickley has claimed that the record will have a "vintage 1950s pop music sound".
