The 'Words' boyband have allegedly been performing to half-full arenas and measures have now been taken to fill more seats.
According to Metro, two for one tickets are being sold and given away on radio shows after just 5,000 of the 10,500 seats at a recent gig in Liverpool were filled.
"Shane looked really p***ed off! Ronan and Stephen still carried on like true professionals, they carry the other three," a concert-goer told the newspaper.
Boyzone rose to fame in 1994 and went on to sell over 15 million albums. The group unofficially disbanded in 2000 after the release of their greatest hits compilation By Request.
They performed together for the BBC's Children In Need in November 2007 and are currently midway through their second arena tour since reforming. A new studio album is expected in 2010.
