The singer admitted that he hopes the pair can overcome their past feud, which started following controversial comments Harvey made about drug use in 1997.
"I feel a little bit bad, it was his group, now he's not in it and it's us three," he told The Sun.
"No-one's died, it's not something none of us can get over. Hopefully we'll be able to sort something out."
The group, who have not enjoyed chart success for ten years, have been touring Britain and revealed that there is still huge demand for them to play in eastern Europe.
"We're touring in Estonia soon and we've still got a big following in Russia and Romania," Terry Coldwell said.
"The hard-done-by countries in that area have always related to the messages in our songs."
Mortimer recently performed his first solo show since leaving the 'Alright' group in 1997.
