Kasabian plan 'surprise guest' for Glasto
Kasabian have announced that they plan to perform with a special guest at Glastonbury this weekend.

The group, who play the Pyramid Stage ahead of Bruce Springsteen's headline performance, told NME that their fans can expect a unique performance from them.

"I think we're going to have a little guest on stage," Sergio Pizzorno said. "Subject to said guest not getting out of it and orbiting Saturn when we're on stage."

The guitarist added that the opportunity to appear at the legendary festival was "f**king great" and he is looking forward to watching Springsteen perform.

"I can't wait. I don't want to jinx it, you never know especially in a band like ours, we are a rock 'n' roll outfit, but I've got a really good feeling about Saturday. It would be fucking great. It will be quite an evening I think," he said.

"I'm really looking forward to playing before The Boss, it makes you raise your game, because he is - and I think the word gets used too much but he is one - a legend. You really want to set things up for him, just think how amazing his set is going to be, so we're going to pull out all the stops before his set, hopefully we'll surprise a few of his fans."

Pizzorno added: "Glastonbury has always been good to us as a band. I think because people are perhaps a bit more open, they're up for seeing all sorts of music, they don't worry so much about genres. They're wandering around watching everything, and whereas they might not come to one of gigs, they see us and are surprised by what we can do."
