The 'I Kissed A Girl' singer agreed to collaborate with the Colorado band after they supported her on tour recently.
"Touring with Katy is the best thing we could've done," bandmember Nathaniel Motte told the Daily Star. "She's a great performer and her show is a lot of fun.
"We wrote 'Starstrukk' a year ago and then met Katy. So when we had the opportunity to remix it, we were delighted she agreed to sing on it."
3OH!3 release their debut single 'Don't Trust Me' on July 6. 'Starstrukk' is expected to follow as the second track to be taken from their album Want.
