The 'Womanizer' star confirmed that singer Kristinia DeBarge will be joining current opener Ciara for the second leg of her North American tour.
Speaking to Access Hollywood, DeBarge said: "Joining Britney Spears for her 'Circus' tour will be an amazing and surreal experience for me.
"I have been dreaming of an opportunity like this forever, and can’t wait."
The 19-year-old singer is the daughter of '80s pop star James DeBarge. Her debut single 'Goodbye' is currently available for download and peaked at number 15 on the Billboard chart earlier this year.
Spears recently announced that she will play an additional 20 shows across Canada and the US, kicking off on August 20. She is also scheduled to play a string of dates across Australia in November.
