The second man on the Moon went into the studio with Snoop Dogg and Talib Kweli to record the track and some behind-the-scenes interviews for the Funny Or Die website.
On the clip, Aldrin, aka Doctor Rendezvous, said: "I have only two passions. Space exploration and hip-hop."
Legendary producer Quincy Jones said: "I saw the first Moonwalk, and when we saw the guys get off that spaceship and driving and everything else they were all cool.
"But my man Buzz, the brother had a great groove going on. He had a little step going on - he was so cool."
Aldrin, 79, conceived the project to teach young people about space exploration and reignite interest in the US space programme.
He explained: "Young people have lost any interest in space that isn't in a video game or a movie house. Many don't really know that man has stood on the Moon."
