Emily Eavis has expressed her sadness at the death of Michael Jackson.

The co-organiser of the event said that musicians at the event would recognise the passing of the King Of Pop during their live sets.

Eavis said: "I am shocked. This is such a tragic moment. We haven't got anything official to say yet but what I can say is there are tributes all over the site.

"Everywhere you go you can hear Michael Jackson's music. I am sure the artists will pay tribute in their own ways. In the coming days everyone wants to pay their respects."

She also wrote on her Twitter page: "So sad to hear the news about MJ. There will be tributes all over the site all weekend. A truly great artist."
