Earlier this year, the singer-songwriter released a version of the album's 'Green Light' and he has now followed up the recording with a take on the rest of the album, Pitchfork reports.
He suggested that his cover of Evol will be included on a planned Sonic Youth cassette-only boxset.
Beck said: "They are doing some kind of box where they are getting artists to do photographs and art and pamphlets related to Sonic Youth, and one of the things they were requesting was a cassette.
"So I signed up for the cassette. I thought it would be an interesting idea, at least, something that's on cassette."
Beck recently uploaded a cover of The Velvet Underground's 'I'm Waiting For The Man' to his website as part of his seperate Record Club album covers project.
