Moss 'wants Lily Allen collaboration'

Kate Moss has reportedly asked Lily Allen to record a song with her.

The supermodel, who was recently joined by Allen on holiday in the south of France, is said to be trying to forge a career in the music industry.

"Kate is obsessed with becoming a rock star. She's desperate to persuade Lily to include her on a new album," a source told Closer.

Moss, 35, allegedly turned to Allen to help launch a music career after boyfriend Jamie Hince, who plays with The Kills, refused to record with her.

"Kate knows it'll be easier to persuade Lily to work with her. She's always making Lily do karaoke with her at home," the source added.

"Lily adores Kate and it seems like she'd do anything she suggests. They say they're like sisters as they've got so much in common."

Moss previously performed on stage with ex-boyfriend Pete Doherty and appeared in the White Stripes' 2003 video 'I Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself'.

Last week, the star performed on stage with Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour at a charity event in London.
