Little Boots 'took helicopter to see Blur'

Little Boots has revealed that she took a helicopter to see Blur perform live at Glastonbury.

The 'New In Town' singer, who was forced to leave the festival mid-way through to play a live show elsewhere, admitted that she was determined to get back in time to catch Blur's headline set.

"I [got] helicoptered in to see Blur," she told NME. "I was like, 'I'll just get a car, it's fine', but I don't mind 'coptering back in to see Blur!"

Last month, the Blackpool-born star joined the Oxfam 'blue face' campaign to raise awareness about climate change.

"Doing nothing is not the answer to fighting climate change. Go blue, demand that the prime minister takes the lead in protecting the people of this beautiful planet and kiss goodbye to climate change. If everyone does their bit we can save the planet," she said at the time.

Little Boots releases new single 'Remedy' on August 3.
