According to eFestivals, The Sunshine Underground, Joe Lean And The Jing Jang Jong, Kid British and Gary Go have also been added to the Virgin Mobile Stage.
"This year's Virgin Media Union stage offers a diverse array of acts, genuinely delivering something for everyone," said organiser Bob Angus. "With both old and new faces making appearances, the calibre of this year's lineup is as good as always."
V Festival takes place at Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffordshire on August 22 and 23.
Oasis, The Killers, Razorlight, Keane, The Specials, The Saturdays, Alesha Dixon, Snow Patrol, Lady GaGa, Elbow and The Ting Tings top the bill at this year's event.
