The 'Vogue' singer continued the highest-grossing concert of 2008 at the O2 arena last weekend, wearing a design from Riccardo Tisci, People reports.
The costume that she wore for her opening song was described by a Givenchy Haute Couture stylist as "super couture, sensual, Goth, bondage".
He said: "What I wanted for the opening was to give a very iconic view of Madonna. She's wearing an outfit that will make history. I wanted to do something even stronger because she wanted to be stronger."
He added that the pop superstar gave him the freedom to design the ensemble, saying: "She's an artist but she let me express myself, which is rare."
It was reported earlier that the 50-year-old paid tribute to Michael Jackson during her O2 shows.
