Solange gig 'disrupted by paparazzi'

Solange Knowles surprised fans at the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans when she launched a tirade against the paparazzi.

The singer temporarily halted her live show after supposedly being disturbed by a photographer in the audience.

"Mr Photographer, you are making me self-conscious," Music-News quotes her as saying.

"I swear I make the same stupid three faces over and over again, so please leave me be."

Solange, who is the younger sister of Beyoncé, recently denied reports that she had been axed by her record label after poor sales of second album Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams.
