The chocolatier is looking for popstars from the last decade for its new 'Second Daim Around' internet campaign.
Retro acts must submit their audition clips on the Daim website, with the British public voting for the winner.
"We were entertained by some fantastic showbiz personalities in the '90s, and we hope to attract some of the most memorable to audition for the online ad - as well as some of those we might have forgotten!" said Jack Pipe, convenience sales director at Kraft Foods.
Entries so far include 'I Can Make You Feel Good' singer Kavana and Manchester trio Cleopatra.
"Being teens of the '90s, we were absolutely barmy for Daim, seriously! The armadillo thing... classic!" Cleo Higgins told DS.
"So what a great idea to reintroduce a classic and who better to be the faces of yesterday today than Cleopatra!?
"We are always up for a challenge, we're very creative and haven't shown the depth of our talent nor image in which we plan to very soon!"
She added: "Cleopatra are Comin' Atcha, so stick around guys, you're in for a hell of a ride....!"
The winning act will front a 30-second Daim viral advert in October.
