Jackson experiences US music sales surge

The King Of Pop sold a combined 800,000 copies of his ten-album back catalogue in the last seven days, a 90 per cent increase on the previous week.
According to Billboard, physical sales accounted for 650,000 units sold, with a further 144,000 albums downloaded.
Jackson's Number Ones collection remains his top-selling LP in the US, shifting 339,000 of all his records sold. Thriller moves up to second place, selling 187,000 copies.
The star sold 2.2 million song downloads over the past seven days, compared to 2.6 the previous week.
