The group, who are on course to top the charts with debut single 'Beat Again' on Sunday, insisted that they will not take their success for granted.
"The boys and I have worked so hard to get here and it feels like it has all been worth it. This whole JLS journey has been the time of my life and I know this is only the beginning," singer Marvin Humes told the Daily Record.
"Sometimes people can get complacent and forget why they are here in the first place but I want to express my gratitude to all of our supporters for making four guys' dreams come true."
The star revealed that the group had kept a close eye on the progress of their single when it was first available for download.
"The boys and I woke up in Glasgow knowing our song was available to buy and we kept our eyes on the iTunes chart all day. It climbed and climbed and climbed until it hit the top spot and stayed there," he said.
"When we had our crazy gig at Hamilton Racecourse on Saturday night the feeling was electric, and we want that to stay forever."
