Michael Jackson's 2005 greatest hits collection The Essential is at the top of the Irish albums chart for a third consecutive week.

Florence & The Machine's debut disc Lungs climbs up one place to second spot, while Jackson's 1982 album Thriller takes third place.

Meanwhile, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band's Greatest Hits and Paolo Nutini's Sunny Side Up claim fourth and fifth position respectively.

In total, ten Jackson albums are featured in the top 100, falling slightly short of the twelve which were included last week. The legendary singer passed away on June 25 following a heart attack.
