Sophie Ellis-Bextor has revealed that she is aiming to release new material before the end of the year.
The pop singer, who recently teamed up with Freemasons for 'Heartbreak (Make Me A Dancer)', has recorded between 15 and 20 tracks for her upcoming fourth album.
"I'm working on finishing my album as soon as I can, but I've got lots of work to do," she told DS backstage at T4 On The Beach.
"It's coming together really well and hopefully I'll have new material out before the end of the year."
Ellis-Bextor described the sound of the album, which features collaborations with Calvin Harris, Freemasons and Metronomy, as "very dance-pop - quite tough electro".
