The Dutch singer was the first artist signed to Timberlake's Tennman Records after being spotted singing on YouTube.
"There are so many advantages to having an artist at the label helm, especially one with such success and a proven track record," she told RWD magazine.
"His vision as a businessman and artist really compliment each other and it's something that gives me tremendous freedom and power as an artist. That is the exact balance I am looking for in my career and he definitely shares that vision."
The 20-year-old also revealed that she has started listening to more British music after a recent UK promotional tour.
"I love Amy and Duffy and Leona of course. When I was touring with Enrique in the UK, and we were listening to the One Big Weekend on Radio 1, there was some great artists like La Roux, Alesha Dixon... I really like British music."
Denters releases her debut single 'Outta Here' on August 17. Her debut album follows a week later.
