The Madness frontman claimed that the American rock icon disappointed him with his choice of setlist, despite the show lasting nearly three hours.
"I do love Bruce, well I like him," the singer told Teletext. "But I do love his hits. And at Glastonbury - no hits for one hour 40 minutes.
"I dragged my nephew to see him and he asked: 'If he's The Boss, then who are his secretaries?' I believe in giving people what they want."
Springsteen's performance included renditions of 'Badlands', 'Born To Run', 'Thunder Road' and 'Dancing In The Dark'.
Madness played the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury on the Sunday afternoon.
