The iconic girlband - now a duo featuring original members Sara Dallin and Keren Woodward - will release Viva, their tenth studio album, on September 14.
The album, which has been produced by Ian Masterson, will be preceded by the single 'Love Comes' on September 6.
The group revealed that they were plotting a chart comeback last month when they posted a message on their official website.
Bananarama have sold more than 40 million records during their 27-year career. Their version of Shocking Blue's 'Venus' reached number one on the US singles chart in 1986.
