Liam Gallagher has defended his performance at Oasis' iTunes Festival gig at the Camden Roundhouse earlier this week.

The frontman swore at members of the crowd and expressed annoyance at beer and coins being thrown on stage at the Tuesday night concert. His brother Noel joked yesterday that the singer was on his "man period" during the gig.

However, Liam insisted that he enjoyed the show, describing his unusual behaviour on the night as "passion".

Writing on Twitter, he said: "Camden Town Roundhouse, round my way it's called passion, I've been made to feel uncomfortable for the last 12 months... live forever."

Immediately after the concert, the singer wrote: "Camden, what a night, Japan, we're on our way."

Highlights of the Roundhouse concert can be seen on ITV2 at 8pm tonight.
