Dallin, who co-wrote numerous Bananarama hits including 'Cruel Summer' and 'Love In The First Degree', also saluted GaGa's songwriting skills.
"I really like her music and I like the whole image thing. I think the songs are great and apparently she writes them so she's a obviously a great songwriter," she told DS.
"The videos are great too and kids love the fact that she's somebody who's made an effort. What she does is more creative than seeing another singer in a designer dress with Louis Vuitton heels."
However, Dallin admitted that she is less keen on Mercury Prize-nominated electropop duo La Roux.
"I have to say that song 'In For The Kill' actually drove me up the wall," she said.
"Somebody who lives near me used to play it over and over again until two o'clock in the morning, so I was like 'Shut up that voice!' But they are very eighties and obviously I like that."
Bananarama, who recently signed with Girls Aloud's label Fascination Records, release comeback single 'Love Comes' on September 7.
