Next year's event at Worthy Farm, Somerset, will run from Wednesday, June 23 to Sunday, June 27. The 2011 festival will take place from Wednesday, June 22 until Sunday, June 2011, reports eFestivals.
Registration for next year's festival is currently open for fans hoping to get tickets.
Traditionally the festival has a year off at five-year intervals, but that has been pushed back until 2012 to avoid clashing with the London Olympics.
The 2010 festival will mark Glastonbury's 40th anniversary. Acts rumoured to be in the running for the event include Oasis, Bob Dylan, U2, Foo Fighters, Coldplay, Muse, Kanye West and Radiohead.
Speaking about the bill in June, organiser Michael Eavis said: "We've got some headliners who haven't played for a few years and some who have never played here. I'm not saying names, it will be the same old guessing game.
"But they're all on the phone at the moment so it will be special."
