Yankovic, known for his satirical takes on Michael Jackson's songs, has written and recorded 'You're Pitiful', a parody on Blunt's 2005 hit single.
According to Female First, Blunt has disapproved of the track, which has caused Yankovic to retract the parody from his upcoming greatest hits album.
Yankovic posted on his Twitter page a brief message from Blunt and his manager rejecting the song.
He wrote: "In case you were hoping for 'You're Pitiful' to be included on my Essentials collection, sorry, this just in from Blunt's manager: Thanks for your email, but both James and I will never approve this parody to be released on any label."
