Third Sugababe struck down by severe flu

Keisha Buchanan has become the third Sugababes star to be struck down by illness in just seven days.

The group were forced to pull promotional duties for new single 'Get Sexy' last week after Amelle Berrabah and Heidi Range were diagnosed with a "severe bout of flu".

Writing on her Twitter blog, Buchanan confirmed that she was now experiencing flu symptoms.

"Blocked nose, head hurts, my back is aching & the house is hot but im under my duvet in a thick jumper freezing..." she wrote.

"Been up since 5am, I was thinking positive so ive been soldiering on. BUT im not great..."

Buchanan insisted that she was unsure as to whether she had swine flu, which infected over 100,000 people in Britain last week.

"Dont read into it as anything!!!!! It might be a case of food poisoning. Keep you posted... But for now im going to try and go back to to sleep."

Sugababes recently confirmed that they would release two singles before their seventh studio album comes out in November.
