According to The Sun, Ronson will team up with the boyband on their first album of new material since 1998's Where We Belong.
The band admitted that they wanted to work with Amy Winehouse's Back To Black collaborator earlier this year, claiming that they wanted to make an "adventurous" record.
"I'm a big fan of Mark's. We wanted to do something really different for this album. We've all grown up and we want to show that with a new sound," said singer Ronan Keating.
"It will be colourful, bright and uplifting."
Keating will release a new solo album before the end of 2009, while Boyzone's record is expected to be released in early 2010.
