Mr Hudson 'pessimistic' over future

The singer-songwriter secured second place in the UK singles chart at the weekend with 'Supernova', his collaboration with Kanye West.
West has previously claimed that Hudson has the potential to "annihilate" him with future releases, comparing the rising star to Frank Sinatra.
Reflecting on the praise in an interview with Orange, Hudson revealed: "For Kanye to come out and say, 'Mr Hudson is going to be bigger than me', for me my first reaction is to laugh. That's kind of a hyperbole. It's typical Kanye.
"Maybe I'm just an eternal pessimist. I would never say this is going to happen, then I'm going to do this - and then I'm going to be bigger than Kanye, then I'm going to be prime minister. I don't think like that."
He added: "I just make music and let people like Kanye shout from the rooftops. It's a North America thing and I'm very English, pottering about in the shed at the bottom of the garden making my hits."
Mr Hudson will release his second album Straight No Chaser in October.
