Ja Rule 'cancels Sydney concert'

Ja Rule has been forced to cancel a one-off concert in Sydney because of immigration issue, reports claim.

The American rapper, singer and actor, who has been to Australia twice before, was due to perform a show at quayside venue Luna Park on August 29.

The Daily Telegraph claims that Ja Rule's concert was "postponed due to visa processing". He follows in the footsteps of rappers Coolio and Snoop Dogg, who had trouble getting into the country due to drug problems.

Promoters of the event are hoping to reschedule the concert as soon as possible.
