The 'Keep Your Head Up' group, who were put together by Fascination Records earlier this year, claimed that they are confident the public will look beyond their origins.
"No, we're not worried. You can't worry about things like that - we take each day as it comes otherwise we would stress out because we are so busy. You have to be pretty strong to work in the music industry," singer Phoebe Brown told Female First.
"I think we have been very lucky. We're three girls who have been given a massive opportunity. So many people try to make it in the industry and it's only a lucky few who succeed.
"We all know what it's like to be struggling to make it - you get turned down constantly but if you're strong and don't give up eventually something will happen for you."
The singer, who auditioned for the fourth series of The X Factor with her former group Hope, admitted that she jumped at the opportunity to join Girls Can't Catch.
"I was very close to the Hope girls and we had a great time after X Factor. We were together for a year and a half, but sometimes in your heart you know when something's not going to work and you have to grab an opportunity that's been given to you. I could never have said no to this!" she said.
Girls Can't Catch, who previously described themselves as "three lead singers", release debut single 'Keep Your Head Up' on August 3.
