Valance denies new single rumours

The former Neighbours actress blasted a fake Twitter account for posting a semi-nude picture of her and claiming that it is the cover of her new record.
"Is anyone gonna work out that picture was from an AIDS charity book called 4 Inches for Sir Elton John?" she wrote on her blog.
"Why would anyone release something without promoting it and anyone hearing it first? It takes months of promotion and plugging to get radio on board and people in the know about your music. I'm a little confused?"
Valance, whose last album State Of Mind stalled at number 60 in the charts in 2003, claimed that she is not yet ready to attempt a comeback.
"Considering the current state of the music industry it's gonna take a hell of a lot more than a sexy picture to launch a record," she said.
"For those that wanna hear a new record, it will be done the right way. Like it was last time. You just might be waiting a while."
She added: "I would expect it to take as much blood, sweat and tears as it did the last time, if not more. But I guess people forget that part.
"Anyway I have to remember anyone bored enough to leave snide comments under pathetic tabloid articles deserves my compassion and a quick giggle."
Valance recently ended her brief relationhip with electropop star Frankmusik.
