Skunk Anansie to release greatest hits LP

Skunk Anansie have confirmed details of a new single, mini-tour and greatest hits album.

The group, who have not brought out any new material in ten years, will release new single 'Because Of You' on September 14.

The group's greatest hits collection Smashes And Trashes, which includes further new songs 'Tear The Place Up' and 'Squander', follows on November 2.

Skunk Anansie also announced details of a five-date UK tour, kicking off on November 21:

November 21 - Leeds, O2 Academy

November 22 - Glasgow, O2 Academy

November 24 - Manchester, O2 Academy

November 25 - Wolverhampton, Civic Hall

November 26 - London, Brixton Academy

Skunk Anansie were formed in London in March 1994 by Skin, Cass, Ace, Mark Richardson and Robbie France.
