Bat For Lashes announces single, tour

Bat For Lashes has announced the details of the third single from Two Suns.

'Sleep Alone' is released on September 7 and will be followed by a full UK tour the next month.

Bat For Lashes recently said that she will buy her own studio if she wins this year's Mercury Music Prize for which she has been nominated.

She plays the following dates this autumn:

• October 1 - Bournemouth, Opera House
• October 2 - Brighton, Dome
• October 4 - Cambridge, Corn Exchange
• October 5, 6 - London, Roundhouse
• October 9 - Bristol, Colston Hall
• October 10 - Liverpool, O2 Academy
• October 12 - Nottingham, Rock City
• October 13 - Leeds, O2 Academy
• October 14 - Manchester, Academy
• October 16 - Cardiff, University
• October 17 - Sheffield, Octagon
• October 19 - Glasgow, O2 Academy
• October 20 - Edinburgh, HMV Picture House
