Just Jack thanks Elton for video help

Just Jack has revealed that celebrity fan Sir Elton John played a key role in getting actor James Nesbitt to appear in the video for his new single 'The Day I Died'.

The singer told XFM that he had been struggling to find someone to star in the clip before contacting Sir Elton.

Just Jack said: "My girlfriend suggested we get in touch with him and ask if he would help me out. He phoned up Jimmy Nesbitt who said he'd do it. The rest is history.

"He's been a fan since the first album. He got given a copy of the first album that not a lot of people knew about and became a big fan of it. He mentioned it to a few people and it finally got back to me."
