Bandmember Keisha Buchanan confirmed that the group are hoping to surprise their supporters after previously admitting that they felt complacent when performing songs from 2008's Catfights And Spotlights.
Speaking to the Daily Star, Buchanan revealed: "We've been working with a new choreographer to up our game on the dance routines.
"We feel so good about the new music. It has all come together brilliantly. And now I really can't wait for people to hear our new album later this year."
The trio's new single 'Get Sexy' will be released on August 31. The video for the track will premiere on Channel 4 tomorrow.
Discussing the video shoot, Amelle Berrabah added: "The confetti scene was great fun, but it got everywhere. And I really do mean everywhere."
Sugababes plan to release two singles before bringing out their new album.
