Transport for London has announced the launch of a range of 12 mugs featuring lyrics from famous songs about the capital.

The government body has linked with EMI Music Publishing for the 1977 Design-produced mugs, which are available from its online store at £7.50 each.

The first run of mugs feature words from Suggs's 'Camden Town', Eddy Grant's 'Electric Avenue', Pete Doherty's 'Albion', The Small Faces's 'Itchycoo Park', XTC's 'Towers Of London' and The Libertines's 'The Boy Looked At Johnny'.

There are two different designs of mug available for each song.
