Brown, who pleaded guilty to assaulting his ex-partner Rihanna in June, came on stage at the weekend to perform Drake's 'Every Girl' with Wayne towards the end of his set.
In an email sent to MTV News via a representative, Wayne said: "U kno I had to show him sum luv.(sic)"
It is still unclear whether Brown will stay with Wayne for the rest of the tour to replace the injured Drake, who collapsed on stage last week.
