Kate Nash has started work on her second studio album with ex-Suede member Bernard Butler.

The 'Foundations' singer, who is working on the record in RAK studios, has made progress on eight tracks, according to The Fly.

Song titles apparently include 'I Hate Seagulls', 'Pick Pocket', 'You Were So Far Away' and 'Doo Wah Do'.

"I had about 15 demos before I went in," said the star. "I met Bernard because of Ryan (Jarman, Nash's boyfriend)... There's lots of nice guitars, and a really nice grand piano."

Kate Nash's debut Made Of Bricks was released in August 2007.
