The 61-year-old singer was helped backstage by and later sent for treatment by medics after the incident at last night's gig at the Buffalo Chip Campground.
The frontman fell from the stage during a rendition of the band's 1989 hit single 'Love In An Elevator' and guitarist Joe Perry later told the crowd that the rest of the show would be cancelled.
Concertgoer Lance Yellow Robe told the Rapid City Journal: "I've never seen that happen before. But you could kind of see it coming because he was dancing all over the stage.
"I hope he's okay. I could care less about the concert being cancelled."
