Jacko reaches six weeks at Irish No.1

Michael Jackson's 2005 greatest hits collection The Essential is at the top of the Irish albums chart for a sixth consecutive week.

The Script's self-titled debut disc, which first hit shelves in August 2008, climbs up one place to second, followed by Florence & The Machine's Lungs in third position.

Paolo Nutini's Sunny Side Up and Black Eyed Peas' The E.N.D. take fourth and fifth spots respectively.

Meanwhile, the number of Jackson albums in the top 100 remains at 11, including 1982's Thriller at 12, the late singer's 2003 Number Ones collection at 14 and 1987's Bad at 21.
