The 'Perfect Day' singer explained that the security measure was part of a bid to prevent the record leaking onto the internet, while the group's producers did not let her hear a copy of Evacuate The Dancefloor until it was completely finished.
"I didn't hear [the songs] for a year as the lads were so careful about them getting on the internet," she told the Daily Star. "It would've been a disaster if someone had stolen the CD from me.
"The boys don't let anything leave the studio until the tracks are polished. Only then do I hear how they've turned out."
Horler also revealed that she neglected to buy a copy of the album herself, adding: "I only have a burnt copy. I listen to it in the car. I wind the windows down and play it really loud."
