The 61-year-old lead singer fell from the stage while performing 'Love In An Elevator' at the Buffalo Chip Campground last week, and was hospitalised after sustaining head, neck and shoulder injuries.
The group were forced to postpone a show in Winnipeg, Manitoba following the incident. The rock band have now cancelled three more Canadian shows, but are expected to reschedule them for a later date, BBC News reports.
The upcoming American leg of their tour, due to continue this week, may also be pulled and put off for two months while Tyler heals, according to lead guitarist Joe Perry who spoke to US radio station WXRX.
However, Aerosmith's tour has already been inundated with a variety of health-related issues.
Tyler injured his leg in June forcing seven shows to be called off, while bassist Tom Hamilton had to bow out of the jaunt to undergo non-invasive cancer surgery. Guitarist Brad Whitford received a head injury and missed some dates, and Perry's knee infection caused the band to bow out of a gig in Venezuela in January.
Mia Tyler said that her father will return to the stage after he is completely recovered from his injuries.
