The Britain's Got Talent finalist told Heat that the late singer had become a fan of his after watching him perform the Jackson 5 hit 'Who's Lovin' You' on the reality talent show.
Jafargholi said: "We were told that he wanted me to be on his tour. He wanted me to sing 'Heal The World' with him, and he was going to pass the torch to me, like moving on to the next generation.
"[I was] totally shocked. It wasn't Britney Spears or anyone phoning up, it was Michael Jackson!"
Jafargholi later reprised his performance of 'Who's Lovin' You' during Jackson's memorial tribute concert in Los Angeles.
